Just Because You ‘Know’, Doesn’t Mean You ‘Do’.
Knowing Vs Doing
Tomorrow sees me being interviewed for a popular web TV show and on the red carpet for a client’s launch party.
And I am losing my shit.
Because there is only so much that you can do with fake tan, good support lingerie and a fantastic stylist, that helps to hide some of the extra weight I have stacked on this year.
Whilst I don’t normally talk about my body, because the size of my waist has no impact on whether I can do my job well or not, there is something deep down inside with me that is disappointed with myself that I let it get this far.
I have access to some of the best trainers, coaches, nutritionists and experts in their fields. I have proof read their books, helped them design their online programs and written their marketing.
I have written for several leading fitness magazines , consulted for a large fitness training organisation, my clients have included magazine covergirls and one of Australia’s largest gym chains.
But the problem for me was, although I knew what I should be doing in theory, it didn’t mean that I did it in practice.
I know what I need to do to get results.
It is time to start doing it.
And many business owners know what they need to do to get the results that they want but they don’t do it.
Sometimes it is a lack of confidence, a lack of time or a lack of resources.
But like me, they realise they can’t continue on like this.
Realising that you don’t have enough work to keep your staff on because you forgot to market your business is enough to send you into an emotional tail spin, keeping you lying awake at night stressing over what to do next.
The good news it is not to late, that it can be fixed with a fair bit of blood, sweat and tears.
And it doesn’t need to be yours.
We can talk about what you need to do to get your business back on the path of financial success.
Who knows, we might even be able to meet over a salad or have a walking meeting (it may be the only time you see me in flat shoes.)
Send me a PM to see how I can help you get more clients, win more jobs and make more money.
